CHILDLINE is a national 24-hour feww, Phone emergency outreach service for children in need of care and protection . Project supported by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development and linking State Governments, NGOs, Allied Systems and Corporate Sector

What is child line:-

CHILDLINE is a free emergency telephone helpline and out reach services for children in need of care and protection, the CHILDLINE number 1098 is a toll free that is common in all the cities of India . Initially started in Mumbai in June 1996 CHILDLINE is currently operational in 73 cities, CHILDLINE aims to reach out to the most marginalized children between the age group of 1 to 18 years and provide us intervention of shelter, Medical Restoration, Rescue, Death related, Sponsorship and Emotional support and Guidance
